Building Security and Access Control Systems
Keys or cards (what you have), PIN numbers (what you know), and fingerprints (who you are) - all are used to unlock doors and represent different kinds of access control. There is no one else in the region with the kind of unique experience Valley has: On staff Electrical Engineer, Electrified Hardware Consultant (EHC), DHI national instructor for access control and electrified locking systems, and employees who are sensitive to the importance of coordination on projects involving access control systems. We can address all of these areas to provide you with a comprehensive plan related to facility access and security.

Mechanical Access Control
Mechanical keys are one form of access control. We have them on our houses and our businesses. Manufacturers have developed many different types of keys and cylinders - some very basic, some very secure with factory controlled ordering and duplication. This is often overlooked when considering access control systems, but is a critical component to securing a building. We offer a variety of solutions and can help you get back control of your key system.
Electronic Access Management Systems
These systems can control many devices, respond to device inputs as well as system events. We have several manufacturers we can choose from that support a number of different technologies used in building security.
The data generated by electronic access management systems can also be used for other functions, including time and attendance, and integration for cyber asset security. We can partner with your IT department or representative to identify what systems will best meet your needs and utilize existing resources. Don't have an IT department? We can still help.
Access Control and CCTV Integration
Advances in technology are allowing much closer bi-directional integration between access control systems and CCTV systems. These systems allow you to see the video related to events from within the same application whether initiated by the access control system or camera. Greater intelligence is being built into cameras for use on IP networks that can more efficiently communicate with access control systems.
